Lifeboat crews came to the aid of a fishing boat suffering with engine failure over the weekend.
Douglas RNLI was called shortly after 7am yesterday to help the stricken craft which had drifted around a mile offshore after its anchor had also failed to hold.
Teams then located the affected vessel and found the only person on board it to be safe and well.
It was then towed back to Laxey Harbour where coastguards where waiting to assist with its arrival.
