A Peel man's appeared in court on his birthday, charged with being drunk and disorderly, disorderly on licensed premises and resisting arrest.
Richard Long, of Athol Street, admitted the offences when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse on the day he turned 52.
On February 4, Long was drunk in the Mitre Hotel where he made lewd remarks and became abusive before being escorted out.
On Parliament Street, he got into a fight and when police arrived he resisted arrest, kicking out at an officer.
He was put on probation for 18 months and banned from entering licensed premises for six months as well as being ordered to pay £125 costs.
