LegCo candidates revealed

A total of seven candidates will battle it out for four places in government ahead of the Legislative Council elections in three weeks.

Nominations closed at 5pm today as the term of four MLCs came to an end.

Juan Turner and Tony Wild are standing for re-election and will go up against Linda Bowers-Kasch, Michael Coleman, current MHK Geoff Corkish, Peter Hill and Nigel Malpass.

Outgoing MLCs David Callister and Eddie Lowey had previously confirmed their retirement from politics.

Votes will be cast by MHKs on March 18th.
