A farming union on the Island has a request for people who are out in the countryside.
Manx National Farmers Union says it wants people to leave gates as they find them.
On Facebook it says gates between fields can be sometimes be left open by the farmer to allow livestock access to water, if it's already open leave it as it is.
It also reminded the public to keep dogs on leads and away from livestock.
