Learner drivers shouldn't go on Island roads even though they're quiet during the Coronavirus lockdown.
That's the message from the Roads Policing Unit which says if you're a learner with an essential journey you can only travel if you're with a qualified passenger.
Officers add whilst people need to learn how to drive, they want the highways as clear as possible right now and only experienced drivers should be out and about at this time.
Finally, the force says it appreciates it's a frustrating, difficult time for everyone but a 'huge team effort will get us all through this'.
