Learn to restart a heart

You can learn how to administer CPR in Douglas this weekend.

Manx Care's Resuscitation Team will be at the Strand Shopping Centre on Saturday for World Restart a Heart Day (16th).

From 10am-4pm the public will have the chance to learn the lifesaving procedure and ask any questions they might have.

According to figures from the British Heart Foundation nearly a third of UK adults would be unlikely to attempt CPR due to lack of knowledge.

Resuscitation Team members are working to raise awareness of cardiac arrest and to teach others what can be done in an emergency.
