A leading global technology services firm is set to run live timing and data tracking for the TT races.
The Department for Enterprise has announced NTT Ltd. will provide the service for the TT, Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix with hopes the system will be in place for the 2021 season.
The tech from the Luxembourg-based company will be able to track course cars, travelling marshall bikes and race competitors giving real time stats from any point on the circuit which will be made available to fans on the official IOM TT Races website.
Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, says it has the potential to 'revolutionize' how the TT races and other Island motorsport events on the mountain course are experienced around the world.
