Manx National Heritage says both historic sites will open their doors between 11am and 3pm on Thursday.
Additional COVID-19 safety measures will be in place to protect staff and visitors including hand sanitisers, PPE for staff, perspex screens at admission points and contactless payments preferred to cash.
Toilets will be open to the public with visitors asked to aid good hygiene by wiping down surfaces before and after use, with anti-bacterial wipes provided.
MNH says the Laxey Wheel won't be turning just yet due to a lack of water because of the recent dry weather but it's hoped it can get moving again once there's been more rainfall.
Some restrictions will be in place on some of the interactives and all dressing up costumes have been removed.
Both sites join Peel Castle in allowing customers to return - the attraction in the west is currently open between 11am and 3pm between Thursdays and Sundays.
