A motorcyclist was killed yesterday following a road traffic collision on the Baldrine to Laxey road.
The collision involved a silver coloured Honda Jazz car and a black coloured Yamaha motorcycle.
At the time of the collision the motorbike had been travelling towards Laxey, with the car headed toward Baldrine.
The rider of the Yamaha sustained fatal injuries as a result, the occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.
The road was closed for approximately six hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene.
The Police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or remembers seeing any of the vehicles described immediately before the collision.
