Sidecar racer Dwight Beare died during the first Sidecar Race on June 4th after a crash at the 16th milestone - he suffered head and neck injuries.
The 27-year-old, who lived in Onchan, was a joiner and had been working on the Hartford Homes site at Cronk Cullyn in Colby.

His colleagues have decided to install a memorial bench at the development - the entire play area at the centre of the site has also been named 'Dwight's Park' in his honour.
