A flight landing into Ronaldsway Airport on Monday night had a laser pointer directed into the cockpit.
The Isle of Man Constabulary believe the beam of the laser came from the area of Onchan Head, and was shone at the plane coming in from Liverpool.
Police state the aircraft landed safely, but describe the incident as ‘highly irresponsible and reckless’, as it could have endangered those on board.
If anyone has any information about who was responsible, they are urged to come forward and speak to the police, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
