A property developer's applied for planning approval in principle to turn a row of Douglas office buildings into apartments.
Lichfield Properties Ltd says it's proved difficult to let the buildings of 26 to 36 Finch Road as office space.
The company now wants to demolish the offices and turn them into a large, five-storey apartment building containing 28 units.
It's being described as a major urban regeneration project in the capital.
