Clarkson\'s Contest Outcome On Ground of Right to Privacy Under Human Rights Act
After what was thought to be the conclusion to the right of way disputes at Langness it’s looking as though the contentious issue might be up for discussion yet again.
Objections to the ruling by both the landowners and other individuals will be put before the High Court in Douglas later this month.
Following a public inquiry it was determined that numerous footpaths on the land of TV personality Jeremy Clarkson were indeed a public right of way.
The Clarkson’s have contested the outcome of the inquiry on the grounds of the right to privacy under the Human Rights Act.
MHK David Anderson was the Transport Minister at the time of the dispute, he says he is hopeful that the outcome of the impending court hearing should finally give clarity to all parties concerned for some time to come.
