Landlords will meet next week to discuss amendments to the Landlord and Tenant Bill which is in the process of going through the House of Keys.
The Department of Social Care's legislation is attempting to find a fair and reasonable balance between the rights of landlords and those of private tenants.
The Private Landlords' Association says it needs to firm up its side of the negotiations and has called a meeting at the South Douglas Old Friends' Club on April 1st.
