Landlord and Tenant Bill to be shelved until next administration

There's no space for the Landlord and Tenant Bill in the legislative programme.

That's the message from Treasury Minister Eddie Teare - who agrees with the Minister for Health and Social Care that the Bill won't be seen again in this administration.

The House of Keys voted for it to be redrafted and sent to the DHSC for review.

Minister Teare doesn't believe it'll be passed until after the next general election:
