Lambs killed by dogs straying into fields

The attacks took place in a field close to Ballavitchell Farm in Crosby.

As a result of the incident two lambs were killed outright, four lambs were injured along with three ewes who all received deep wounds to the face, mouth and jaw areas.

One of the dogs was described as being similar to a staffy, with the second dog sharing the same appearance to a greyhound, with long dark brown hair.

Following the attack the dogs ran off towards Peel Road.
