Laxey residents have been querying why there's no apparent works being carried out on the bridge.
The Department of Infrastructure received concerned phone calls from members of the public yesterday.
Despite there being no one there - project manager Aidan McCusker reassures us it's being carried out off-site.
He says over the past two weeks, preparation works to support the structure have been underway:
