The Manx Labour party believes everyone should be able to afford 'high quality' homes.
The Manx Labour Party is hosting an event this week, focusing on how to ensure access to affordable high quality homes for all.
It will take place on Thursday between 19:00 and 21:00 at the South Douglas Old Friends Club.
New housing and planning policies will be considered and voted on by MLP members, alongside setting up a housing working group.
The party says the new policies will look at how to ensure access to affordable homes and to improve the planning system to make it more democratic.
A spokesman said: "We know young people and key workers are leaving the Island because of the lack of affordable homes.
"The current housing system needs fixing, and Tynwald can do this if enough progressives are elected on September 23rd".
