The number of people on the Isle of Man arrested for being in possession of a knife doubled in 2017/18.
That’s in comparison to the previous 12 months - but the figure then dropped significantly this year.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey gave details in Tynwald sitting yesterday morning.
It came in response to a question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
The Minister said no specific reason has yet been outlined for why the figures vary so much.
