Peel Commissioners has decided to move a designated space for young people from the headlands.
The local authority says it has had reports of the ‘pod’ being damaged and vandalised and is now going to relocate it to Peel Hill.
The pod has been there for a number of years, at the request of young people in the town, for somewhere to congregate.
Clerk of the Commissioners Derek Sewell says commissioners have consulted with youth groups and the schools about the move:
LegCo to face questions in this morning's sitting

House of Keys to sit for final time before election
Island cyclist to ride in Tour De France
