After a period of uncertainty Douglas and Braddan will be keeping the kerbside collection scheme for at least another year.
Since Onchan commissioners recently announced their intention to withdraw their support to the scheme on the grounds of cost, it looked like it was going to have to come to an end.
MHK Graham Cregeen has been passionate about it’s continuation and helped secure it’s funding following a meeting with Douglas Corporation and Braddan Commissioners.
He has said he is now inviting any questions from members of the Onchan Commissioners, to be put to him at the next meeting of the Kerbside Collection Partnership.
