An intense public meeting was held this afternoon to allow people affected by the Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander closure to have their questions answered.
At this point the panel made up of KSF reps didn’t have enough information to field most of the questions – the provisional liquidator, Mr Simpson did however assure the packed out gaiety stalls that he would do all in his power to return their assets.
M.D of KSF Isle of Man, Aidan Doherty, said they weren’t made aware of the situation by their Icelandic parent company until the last minute, and were as shocked as the public were when they pulled out of their 100% money back guarantee.
