There are around 200 more people on the government payroll than in 2021.
That's according to figures from the cabinet minister, in response to a written question from MHK John Wannenburgh.
Last year there were 7,049.4 government employees, with 7,243.6 recorded on March 31 2022.
The data only shows the full-time equivalent of employees contracted and paid by the Isle of Man government.
