A painting by famous artist L.S. Lowry that went to auction last week only received one bid.
'The Street with Many Steps,' which was signed and dated, was expected to sell for between £500,000 and £700,000.
Chrystals auctions says the two viewing days for the painting were slightly slow, but they had interest from London and the North West as well as across the Island.
The painting was sold for £350,000 raising a third less than what auctioneers had expected.
