Jurby Parish Commissioners have announced an increase of 3.7 percent to the local authority's rates this year.
That's an increase of six pence from 171 pence in the pound to 177 pence.
The commissioners say they recognise the financial pressures which residents are under, and have worked to keep the increase as low as possible.
They add the rise is 0.4 percent above inflation.
