Officials have been impressed with people's ideas to make Island homes more energy efficient.
The government recently held a competition inviting residents with architectural experience to submit proposals on ways to lower the emissions in existing Manx properties.
Now, the judging panel is considering the applications and say they've been pleased with the standard, range of ideas and amount of research which has gone into them.
The winner will receive a £5,000 prize with runners-up getting £1,000 each - the results will be announced at a ceremony on Monday, December 9.
