12 people are set to lose their jobs at the Island's meat plant.
Isle of Man Meat has confirmed the redundancies saying it's due to a combination of factors.
Continued losses incurred by the company have resulted in a need to become more efficient with working processes.
A long term reduction in supply, and the recent bad weather, are also being blamed.
Chief executive John Dawkins says the business is working hard to minimise the impact on employees and has been consulting them throughout the process.
