Service Held At 2pm At Royal Chapel, St Johns
A memorial service will be held on the Island today to commemorate the life of Joanna Brown.
The Island was plunged into mourning following the news of Joanna’s murder back in November, she was discovered in woodland near her home in Ascot.
She grew up on the Island spending a great deal of her childhood in Laxey, she attended the Buchan School and her mother lives in Sulby.
Despite having left the Island sometime ago she still maintained a large friend base here.
The memorial service will be held at 2pm at the Royal Chapel in St John’s.
Meanwhile her husband Robert Brown is still in custody having already appeared before Slough Magistrates charged with her murder.
