Plans for a TT-like race in the Isle of Wight has met opposition from local residents.
A TT-like roadrace on the Isle of Wight is facing significant opposition from local residents in one of the parishes it passes through.
The Isle of Wight Roadraces are due to be held next April, but a survey has shown more than two-thirds of a village on the course don't want it to go ahead.
Out of 1,070 Brighstone residents, only 31 per cent said they're in favour of the racing being held.
A six-week consultation is currently underway into the races.
