The closest thing currently on the Island are the fixed penalty tickets going out for endorsable offences such as speeding.
The Isle of Man Constabulary have said however that they are currently unable to adopt an identical scheme as it would require a lot of back office effort and need significant reorganisation and potentially investment.
They've said they will now watch the developments in the UK with great interest.
