Keith Moore and Danny Dooley join the tribute to fire crews who died in 9/11 attacks
As the world remembers the 9/11 terrorist attacks 10 years ago today, two Isle Of Man firefighters are attending the memorial service in New York.
Keith Moore and his colleague Danny Dooley travelled to US to join the tribute to the fire crews who died in the terrorist attacks.
Keith and Danny are wearing the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service's traditional ceremonial uniforms.
Their presence will further strengthen the bond that has developed between Isle of Man firefighters and their colleagues in New York over recent years; local officers have attended the majority of the memorial services that have taken place since the disaster in 2001 which claimed the lives of 343 firefighters and paramedics.
Isle of Man firefighters are also dedicated supporters of the 9/11 Fund, established by the New York City Fire Department to honour fallen colleagues and enhance community safety through volunteer work in countries across the world.
Keith told 3FM about the events taking place in New York today:
