Students Get Involved During Anti-Bullying Week
Students at the Isle of Man College have been helping to raise awareness to the issue of bullying this week.
This week similar efforts across the UK have been seen as students and teachers alike mark Anti-Bullying Week.
During the week the Student Council have invited students to post their own anti-bullying messages on a 6ft high mosaic for the rest of the College to see.
The Police have been involved also, they were keen to get across that in some instances bullying can be classed as a criminal offence possibly resulting in convictions.
Student Welfare Officer Julie Bibby said figures of reported bullying at the college have seen a steady decline over the years, but they are conscious not to rest on their laurels.
