Isle of Man border rules relaxed today

A further easing of the Island’s border restrictions has come into effect.

In a step towards the removal of all restrictions by the end of March, the Manx government is aligning with England’s new rules.

The changes came into effect at 00:01 this morning (Friday).

No testing or isolation is required for anyone travelling to the Island who’s fully vaccinated, or Manx residents who are unvaccinated and have only been within the Common Travel Area (CTA).

No isolation is required for unvaccinated visitors who have only been within the CTA, or anyone unvaccinated who has been outside of the CTA, however a PCR test will need to be taken within 48 hours of arrival.

Anyone under the age of 17 will be exempt from all travel related testing and isolation requirements, whether vaccinated or not.

All travellers are reminded that a landing card must still be completed, as well as a Manx Entry Permit and vaccination exemption if applicable.
