The Isle of Man’s Space industry received a welcome boost last week in a major report presented at the Institute of Directors in London.
The report entitled ‘Space: Britain’s New Infrastructure Frontier’ singled the Island out for praise, saying it has a mighty space sector.
The presentation resulted in significant commercial interest from the 100 plus crowd.
Director of Business Development at the Department of Economic Development, Tim Craine, told 3FM that the Island’s space sector profile on the world scale is continuing to grow, however a major challenge has been having the UK media take the Island seriously as a location for space industry:
