The Isle of Man has signed a comprehensive double taxation agreement with Bahrain.
The significant ceremony took place today in Bahrain between Treasury Minister Anne Craine and Bahrain’s Minister of Finance.
It’s a significant signing as Bahrain is perceived as being a key financial hub in the Middle East.
The agreement will address taxation issues arising in relation to the flow of business and any movement of people between the Island and Bahrain.
It signifies the 22nd agreement, which meets the OECD international tax standard on transparency and effective exchange of information.
