The Island's second Pride festival will take place this summer.
Organiser 'Isle of Pride' has confirmed the event will go ahead on Saturday, August 13 at the Villa Marina Gardens.
Isle of Pride coordinator Clare Barber says not only will it be ‘bigger and better’ than the 2021 festival but it provides an opportunity to celebrate a landmark in Manx legislation.
It comes as 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexual acts in the Isle of Man.
Mrs Barber added 'it’s only right' we celebrate and honour those who were brave enough to stand up, challenge and ultimately change attitudes.’
Plans for this year include a festival, parade, family tent, youth pride and a queer cinema.
Currently, organisers are looking for local companies to come forward as sponsors - they're also inviting expressions of interest from food and drink vendors.
