The Island's Lieutenant Governor has released a statement following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
Buckingham Palace has made the announcement - confirming the 99-year-old passed away this morning.
In a statement his excellencey Richard Gozney said:
"I know that the Isle of Man joins me in expressing deep sadness at the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. I am sending a message of condolence from the Island to HM The Queen."
