Island\'s Government Happy With No Change in Passport Agreement with UK.
The Island’s Government are said to be happy there have been no proposals to require passports for travel between the Island and the UK.
It all centres on Clause 99 of the UK’s Policing and Crime Bill which states UK customs officers require the production of travel documents upon entry to the UK.
However due to a longstanding customs agreement with the UK this has never been the case for Manx people.
The Chief Minister says he is confident this is how it will stay.
