Fewer than half of Manx graduates say they want to come back to the Island to work.
The figure was revealed in a government survey that found just 45 per cent of graduates said they'd return to the Isle of Man after finishing their degrees.
The main reasons for returning included family, a safe environment and the Manx lifestyle.
But 55 per cent of graduates blamed poor career prospects for staying away, with 38 per cent saying their chosen job wasn't available on the Island.
