Political leaders from several jurisdictions came together in Douglas yesterday for the 41st British-Irish Council.
Leaders from Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, Jersey and Guernsey were welcomed by the Isle of Man for the bi-annual event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
First established in 1998 as part of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, its purpose is to promote positive, practical relationships between all eight administrations.
The Council discussed renewable energy, as well as topics of mutual interest.
