The Island wants to strengthen its defence against those who make misleading or false promotions of medicine.
That's according to the Island's Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford, as his department looks to lay down an order to activate part three of the Islands Medicine Act.
As of Sunday, July 1, the order will make it illegal to make false or misleading claims about medicinal products.
The matter will be discussed in the next sitting of Tynwald on Tuesday, June 19, and Thursday, June 21.
