The Island’s service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day is set to take place on Sunday.
Part of a worldwide event, church representatives and students from secondary schools will attend St George’s Church in Douglas on Sunday.
The service provides an opportunity to reflect on the atrocities carried out by the Nazis during WW2 and subsequent genocides around the world.
The Chief Minister, the Lieutenant Governor, Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann and the President of Tynwald will all be in attendance.
This year the theme is 'journeys' - His Excellency Adam Wood says these kinds of deplorable acts continue into the 21st century:
Forecast high winds cancel three ferries
New Iranian ruler tied to Manx-registered company
Temporary speed limits around TT course from this week
Government considers laws for BYOB events
