Tynwald has voted to approve the Island's 20mph speed zones in residential areas.
It means the plans released by the Department of Infrastructure earlier this year will now press ahead, with the introduction of the new limits in phases around the Island.
Yesterday, the court backed the plans put forward by Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood.
Douglas and Onchan will be the first to get the zones and Dr Haywood says there'll be local consultation before the scheme goes ahead in each area.
