Two Island primary schools are up for prestigious awards thanks to their efforts to help the environment.
Laxey and Dhoon schools have been nominated in the 'Sustainable schools' category for the TES Schools Awards alongside seven other institutions in the British Isles.
They're being congratulated by FIM Capital Beach Buddies who took to social media this week, saying their 'pioneering campaigns' have 'captured the imagination of the Manx community'.
The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on June 21.
