A new report shows Island residents lost over £2 million is scams last year.
In the report released by The Cyber Security Centre for the Isle of Man it was revealed that residents who fell victims to scams lost over £2.2 million.
Investment scams claimed the most of Island residents money with £1.2 million being lost, and just under £400,000 was lost to scam voice calls.
However the CSC says that these figures only come from reports they have received and so the actual amount is likely to be higher.
