Strengthening trade ties away from the shores of the Isle of Man will be central to attracting more inward investment.
That's the message from the Department of Economic Development which has renewed a Memorandum of Understanding with Liverpool Vision.
The department says it will cement a 'desire' to collaborate on projects of joint interest in order to encourage progress towards 'common economic goals and investments'.
The MoU follows two previous agreements and will be effective for the next two years - it also includes provision for the Island to participate in the International Festival for Business in 2018.
