Island praised for Philippines typhoon donation

Philippines Ambassador to the UK has expressed "profound thanks" to the Isle of Man for it's crisis aid efforts.

International relief efforts were made in the wake of the Typhoon Haiyan devastation in November of 2013.

In response to the crisis, the International Development Committee donated £100,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee to aid agencies.
