Island Post Office Record £2.2 Million Profit
Amid the financial turmoil currently gripping the Island the Post office have recorded a profit of over £2 million.
This rise over the year 2008 to 2009 represents a 12% increase on last year.
It’s thought the strategic plan the Post office formulated in 2007 has helped them to weather the storm and progress despite the tough trading conditions.
Chief Executive for the Post office Bill Chacksfield has vowed to continue helping the Island’s economy grow and generate new sources of revenue.
