People on the Island are being encouraged to get involved in a year of festivities which are set to celebrate and honour our rich and diverse culture.
Island of Culture 2014 will be the largest cultural celebration in the history of the Isle of Man, spread over 12 months.
Dance, music, theatre, the visual arts, literature and film and digital innovation will all be represented in the events.
Joint patrons of the celebrations will be President of Tynwald Clare Christian and the BBC film critic Mark Kermode.
