People convicted of murder and other serious offences in the Island won’t be given sentences of hundreds of years if the UK implements it into law.
That’s the message from the home affairs Minister – who tells us the Island will continue to comply with European human rights and apply its own legislation.
This comes as Prime Minister David Cameron announces that 'life should mean life' - whilst the UK Government considers US-style 100-year prison sentences.
